That price, in case you're wondering, is $1,299.99 for the 55-inch OLED55-H1 and $1,999 for the 65-inch OLED65-H1, though the former can be found on sale for less than $1,000 at times. Compare this to the LG CX OLED, which starts at $1,699 for the 55-inch and shoots up to $2,499 for the 65-inch model, and it's easy to see that many of us are not interested in this in the OLED space. Of course, as an OLED screen, the Vizio OLED has some big advantages (and some flaws) to point out. In the former category, we have exceptional black levels and extremely thin chassis, with OLED's other benefits being the exceptional contrast and wide viewing angles that most people can appreciate. The downside is that OLEDs, in general, aren't as bright as their LED-LCD counterparts, and Vizio's OLEDs, in particular, tend to be dimmer than most.
Adding to this flatscreen TV's problems is Vizio's SmartCast platform, which is missing some key apps and can be a bit slow after startup. We also think the upscaling algorithm on the Vizio OLED isn't as robust as LG's or Sony's upscaling algorithms because we've seen heavy grain on HD sources on more than one occasion.
What you're left with after considering all the details is a good budget OLED that excels at 4K HDR content and stumbles a bit with HD upscaling.

The Samsung QN90A was one of the first 4K screens to use the company's high-up Neo QLED panel in 2021, which sports a higher number of light-emitting diodes per square inch than previous generations. We got our first glimpse of Sero TV at IFA 2019 where it grabbed our attention with its rotating functionality and attractive design. The Sero is unlike any other new Samsung TV, and it's to Samsung's credit that they brought the concept to market.
The Ciro is aimed at heavy social media users, and this rotating TV can render both landscape and portrait content, meaning you can be watching a Netflix movie one minute and scrolling through Twitter or TikTok the next. can do.
On pressing a button, it will rotate 90 degrees and it takes only 2-3 seconds to do so. If you want a TV for social media, it's adventurous – if imperfect – to make that dream come true, and something like nothing else on the market.

However, different TV manufacturers have their own proprietary smart TV platforms, which differ in usability, speed, quality of search, and what type of app support is available. For example, some may be missing Disney Plus, or have a more streamlined layout—while others may have a better voice search, for those planning on barking commands rather than clicking them.

Do the best TVs require 4K resolution?
4K resolution, at least the way most TV companies define it, is 3840 x 2160 pixels, or 2160p. To put this in perspective, a Full HD 1080p image is only 1920 x 1080. A 4K screen has about 8 million pixels, which is about four times what a 1080p set can display.

If you're on a budget then a cheap TV brand such as Hisense or TCL is a good bet, both brands offer great features at great prices. However, if you're looking for a high-end OLED, there's a better option than LG, Sony, or Panasonic. The latter of which offers better built-in audio than any other OLED TV maker.
Alternatively, if QLED sounds appealing to you then you can't go wrong with Samsung. Samsung is generally a very good all-rounder option as well.
There is also the matter of whether you are already familiar with a particular TV brand. If you're familiar with a certain interface or smart TV platform it makes sense to stick with what you know (unless you hate using it, of course!).
How big should your TV be?
People choosing the size of their flat TV based on the amount of space available for it is not necessarily wise. Flat TVs take up a lot less space than you might think, so your new TV may be a foot or two away from your viewing position, making the picture appear smaller.
